April 26 – A Joyful Centennial Season Finale – Beethoven’s 9th

As our 100th Season Celebration comes to a close, we end with a joyous finale! Featuring UNL orchestra and choir students, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony will be a concert to remember for the next 100 years!

This large ensemble will perform at The Hastings City Auditorium, where Wandering Well will be available for refreshments, and a pre-concert education session will give you all the inside info on Beethoven’s great work.

Performing Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 as part of the Hastings Symphony Orchestra’s 100th Anniversary celebration, in collaboration with the University of Nebraska Lincoln (UNL) Symphony, holds profound significance. Beethoven’s Ninth is a monumental work in the orchestral repertoire and a powerful symbol of unity, resilience, and artistic triumph—values that resonate deeply with HSO’s century-long journey.

Please join us for this ultimate finale of a centennial season to remember!
